Eber, brother of William Wright, brought his family in a covered wagon to Minnesota. He first went to Dodge Center, Dodge County, MN where Ella May was born. He then went to New London where he appears in the 1870 New London (Kandiyohi Co.) census with wife Barbara (Bertha) and children.

Joan has notes from and has met with Lois Ramsett (wife of Willard, deceased), great-grandson of Eber who lives in Billings, MT. She sent some hand written copies of obituaries of Eber Wright and also William Fiers - husband of Sarah (Eber's daughter) In the obituary for William Fiers, John and Isaac Wright are listed half brothers. John and Isaac are half brothers to Eber (and also William). Further research indicates that William is Rebecca Fiers Wright (Dilley) son by her first marriage to James Fiers making them genuine half brothers (twice).

In a news article in Genealogical Library in Willmar, MN - -Eber Wright moved to Bagley,MN April 2, 1902. (He had two sons that lived there).

Updated information on Eber and his family has been sent to Joan by his great great granddaughter Anne O'Leary (daughter of Wright Johnson).
