It has been presumed that Wallace (brother of Etta) spent most of the rest of his life in the state of Washington (after being taken there by his father), however, at the time of Etta's wedding (Nov. 1896) in Willmar, he is listed as a guest from Arvilla, North Dakota (that is where their grandparents William Wright and Mary Tilden had a farm). William Wright died in 1887 in Arvilla and Mary Tilden died in Detroit
Lakes in1897. One of Wallace's sons is Clarence, father of Susan Pease Ellingson who wrote to Vendla (Johnson) McElroy in October 1977 seeking information about her grandfather Wallace Oliver. At that time she lived at 1016 168th Ave. S.E. in Bellevue, WA 98008. Information was sent to her by Ella Mae (Johnson) Bennett. In 1997 Joan Schuette made contact with Sue through the woman who lived at her former address (who kindly called persons named Ellingson in the Seattle, WA area). Sue and Joan now keep in touch. Sue tells us this about her family: Her father Clarence had several brothers and a sister including a half-brother Harvey Wallace Pease, born Augst 25, 1899 in Willmar, MN. (See Harvey).

Wallace was married to an Amy Thompson in Willmar, MN. and they are the parents of Harvey and also, according to Keturah Wright's family Bible, a daughter who died in infancy). There is a Harry Thompson listed as a guest at Etta's wedding?.. No mention is made of a visit by Wallace to Willmar in Etta's diaries, but he was the acknowledged father of Harvey.  In Etta's diary she mentions visiting the 'Thompsons' on Monday, June 8, 1925 in Seattle (on Etta and George's Shriners Trip west).

In the letter to Sue Ellingson, Ella Mae said she remembered that Wallace's mother (Margaret (Pease) Adams had a railroad pass (Abraham Adams worked for the Great Northern R.R.) and visited Wallace. She said Maggie thought highly of Wallace's wife "Roe", as she was a 'hard worker. Ella Mae also mentioned that when she went to the Seattle World's fair in 1962, she got off the train in Spokane and looked up "Pease" in the phone book. She said there were several but did not make contact with any of them.

Robert Corkins also has some information on the Pease and additional
notes and photo's are appended.
