Ebenezer Tilden is listed as "Road Supervisor" in the HISTORY OF NOTEORD (see appendage). He was the first of the Tilden's to arrive (1854) according to the history written by Elbert Tilden (see appendage). Notes from Helen McGovern taken from an 1884 history of Dodge County stated that he moved to Dakota and was still living there in 1884. Gareth Pearson, a direct descendent of Ebenezer has William as first name of Ebenezer, however, there is another son named William, so this must not be correct.
