Jons was at first to be smith but he was to little (Ola was the biggest of the two brothers) and not strong enough, after what he was saying, so he must be a farmhand and then he meet Hanna Andersdotter, the daughter of Anders Mansson in Halaback, Vinslov (Sweden), married her and took over the very little farm of his father-in-law. After some years he sold this farm and bought the bigger farm Ebbelund in Vinslov. He was there both farmer and woodenshoemaker until he sold the farm Ebbelund to Hanna and Anders Rosander, the wife daughter to Jons Olssons sister Johanna in Navlinge. It was in the year 1907 and he was then building a house in the community of Vinslov and after that only woodenshoemaker. A son of Hanna Rosander, Frans Rosander, are now living with his family at Ebbelund.
After the death of his first wife Hanna Andersdotter Jons Olsson married Bengta Mattisdotter, who also come from Navlinge. His children in the first marriage Anna, Maria, Nils, and Hilda was emigrating to Topeka in US in the years 1906-1907.
Sven Olsson from Fagelsang in Sweden, which also was emigrating to Topeka and which has descendents living now, was a cousin to Johanna, Ola, and Jons.
Now is the Martinson - Olson Family living all round in US, but in the middle of the great land is Topeka and that could be an interesting matter to do family meetings there for you all living on so many places in whole US to learn know all the different members of the Family. Think about the young generation! That will be many if all meet at once time. (Svenglish Edition by Espelin)

Hanna Andersdotter, the first wife to Jons Olsson, was said to have had a nice voice and she had a musical inheritance, than her grandfather Mans Larsson was a musican, and he are the only districtmusican after which there a districtmusican-diploma is preserved. Mans Larsson could read and write, very beautiful handwriting, which was very, very exceptional in the time about 1800.
Jons Olsson deponated the musican-books of Mans Larsson to the museum of Golinge in Broby. He thought it would be preserved most safely in that way. Among the old people was also medical talented men. Sweden was in old time a very poor farmercountry and first after the World War ll it has been a more richer country belonging to the industry and the economic politicy.
