A note from Marilyn Rogers:
Now where our families connect (and I'm sure of this) is with Sigri Bollogsdaughter Rydningsoyen {1784-1872). She was from Ovre Folldalen (where the farm had their summer farm) and she married Jon Gundersen and they had two children: Gunder (Mine!) and Kari. Jon died from a desease he obtained while serving as a soldier in the war with Sweden (1807-1814). Jon's parents picked a new husband for Sigri but she didn't want him and fled to her sister who lived near Dovre (where the main Langdalen farm was located) and she then met and married Ole Sivertsen Arnkleivlien and in 1810 they married. When she married the farm was divided in to two parts as she an Ole also had family (sons). Gunder (Mine!) got Sore Langdalen.
Now our connection (and Erik agreed) was when Sigrid remarried. I am of her first marriage (Gunder -her husband as they had a son also named Gunder) while you are of her second marriage to Ole.
Clear as 'mud'? Ha! Anyway Sigri is our same 'something grandmother'.
