An All American Road Trip - Part Eight
(From Jackson Hole, WY to Billings, MT)
This was intended to be a travel day as we made our way back East. Dave and Janie took off earlier than we did because they wanted to stop and visit with a friend on their way to Billings, MT where we planned to meet up again. Bobbie and I left several hours later and planned a leisurely drive to Billings, MT. Our route would take us back through part of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, though we went through a part of Yellowstone that seemed to have suffered much more from forest fires, proceeding into Shoshone National Forest as we exited the Park. The changing topography is what drew us to stop more often and take out our cameras and record this portion of our journey. There is again a certain level of repetition with both Bobbie and I taking pictures.

We made some discoveries in the Shoshone National Forest that had eluded us in Yellowstone - The Sighting of Long Horn Sheep and a Moose. Bobbie was quite happy.
Then there was also the changing topography as we continued to drive closer to Billings.
